Who We Are
Minto Money is the d/b/a of Minto Financial, a tribally owned online installment lender. We operate from the village of Minto, Alaska—about 50 miles from Fairbanks—and have offered consumer installment lending online since operations began around 2018.
We provide installment loans from $200 to $3,000 with terms that typically run 10 to 18 months. We are not a payday lender and we do not take vehicle titles as collateral. For product details, see our homepage overview and rates and terms.
Our work is centered on online installment lending for adult consumers who meet eligibility rules and complete verification. We serve borrowers where we currently lend; availability is not the same in every state and can change over time.
Our Approach
We aim to explain costs, eligibility, and next steps in plain language so you can decide carefully. We do not pressure anyone to borrow. If a loan is not the right fit, we encourage you to review alternatives before borrowing and to read your agreement fully before you sign.
Customer Care is available during published Central Time hours. You can reach us by phone or email using the details on our contact page.
We also publish educational articles so you can learn about installment loans, early payoff, payment planning, and scam avoidance without rushing into an application. Those resources are linked from the homepage Borrower Resources section.
Governing Law & Tribal License
Minto Money is a tribally owned lender. Loans are offered under a tribal consumer financial services regulatory code and applicable federal law. Our lending is not conducted under state lending law.
Your loan agreement describes the governing law that applies to your specific contract. Read that document carefully before you sign. For a broader educational overview of tribal lending concepts, see tribal lending explained.
Because tribal and federal frameworks can differ from state lending regimes, you should not assume that a state banking department license listing will describe our authority. Rely on the disclosures in your agreement and the information on this page for how we describe our status.
Industry Membership
Minto Money is a member of the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA). Membership reflects participation in an industry group focused on online lending practices. It is not a government license and does not replace reading your own loan agreement.
If someone claims to represent Minto Money, verify the phone number, email domain, and website against our official contact details before sharing personal or banking information. Our scam-prevention article explains common red flags.
